Belize-regulated broker MTrading closes contracts for difference (CFDs) pegged to cryptocurrencies due to weak demand, writes Finance Magnates.After assessing the current situation, MTrading decided to completely stop servicing such contracts. From today, the only option available to traders with open contracts is to close them. On February 28, all active contracts will be closed at a price close to the market price, and all pending applications will be canceled.
“While we believe our conditions were perfect for trading cryptocurrencies, the demand for these instruments was not as strong as expected. We continue to believe that there is room for the future for cryptocurrencies and blockchain, but right now the best opportunities are with more traditional tools, ”the company said..
