EtherDelta Exchange Announces Hacking of Its DNS Servers
EtherDelta, a decentralized exchange for Ethereum tokens, reports that its DNS servers have been hacked and addresses spoofed, as a result of which users end up on a fake site. This was posted on Twitter EtherDelta. The exchange draws attention to the fact that the attacker's website is missing a Twitter feed and a button for calling a chat, and a fake order book is being used.
Users are advised not to visit the exchange website until the next announcement. A spokesperson for EtherDelta on Reddit said that this would be enough to prevent an attacker from stealing keys or user funds on smart contracts. He also posted an instruction, guided by which users can withdraw their tokens without the help of the site..
